A thoroughly rewritten and more critical take on the Galactic Federation of Light, this time with UB references minimized—thus suitable for sharing widely
Hello Byron I read your New Edition and then the prior description regarding GFLstation. I had not heard of these current ET communications. Decades ago I do remember a channeling group affiliated with the UB, but I paid it no mind back then. It seemed fanatical.
Knowing what has been demonstrated by credible sources regarding UAP, I knew that these observations have been long known and hidden from the general population. Now, the cat is out of the bag, as far as I’m concerned. Reading your dialog stirred an excitement in my being. Giving an overall view of the potential impact that highly intelligent management of the huge data to settled ETs in light & life boggles my mind.
I felt hope which has been a scarcity.
I’m listening to some of the GFL videos… of course with a grain of salt. 😉. Thank you for expanding on the potentials of ET on unconditional love and spiritual growth.
Thanks Claudia, good to meet you and very glad the essay stirred excitement for you. My hope is that more of us actually watch their videos to try to solve this great mystery of contact. These are not your ordinary ETs as depicted in Hollywood. They appear to be from highly advanced worlds, eons ahead of us. It's not quite time for them to show up in Times Square, so they have created a safe "digital meeting place" that I find impressive.
Good to hear your reply. I’ve been studying Derek Samaras UB study group sessions titled “ The Hard Problem of Consciousness “ and the”Seven Adjutant Mind Spirits”. I know you know of his study group sessions as I saw you were a guest regarding Robert’s discoveries of Eden.
These two named sessions of Consciousness and Mindset are pivotal in raising awareness to UB readers who are relatively new to the teachings.
I also think that perhaps these two study group teachings can be instructive as a ‘how to’ for growing spiritual connectivity.
Perhaps enhancing the ET dialogues in their efforts to reach higher levels of understanding for us mortals.
Since these teachers suggest they have traversed from creation through Light and Life, a higher understanding of the levels of mortal possibilities could help the newer readers progress.
Perspective 1, check! You are finally sounding sensible.
Perspective 2, off the rails, but I would be more sympathetic if the aliens were more like the Atenites of my 2nd novel (Foreign Agent the Last Chapter) who not only talked a big game but ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING like blocking war and removing excess carbon from atmosphere and ocean.
Perspective 3, the deep past is one thing (the UB), for the present it's more nonsense. If the evil aliens AND the GFL are both here, why isn't the GFL doing something concrete about the problem?
Finally... 2040, you've picked the date for the predicted collapse (by MIT 40 years ago and recently re-verified with present data) of western civilization and the death (starvation, war, disease) of billions over the ensuing decade.
Matthew, you have it backwards old bro. Perspective 2 is the good news of the gospel, which should thrill you. I am thinking back to when you were a pastor in the Unity Church. I remember seeing one of your sermons. Now we have ETs giving the sermons. Anyway, my hope is that you will actually listen to some of these videos, as they ARE doing something VERY concrete about the planet's problems. I cover that in the coming months, but this commentary on exopolitics will NOT be posted on Union of Souls, but rather on the new substack Exo-Realities, http://exorealities.substack.com. Please subscribe there.
Union of Souls will return more strictly UB-oriented topics.
Well written and provocative! I like the notion of ET reparations for its past crimes against humanity. Some of the species that abused us have matured, and are now compensating for their sins. But most of the good ETs never engaged in abuse in the first place. And the bad ETs are still out there causing problems.
My issue with GFL is not their essential message, nor even their slickness, but the specifics of their intervention narrative. As I mentioned in a comment to an earlier article, stories about the bifurcating earth, Ashtar command, 12-stranded DNA, the cabal, etc. have been making the rounds for decades. They are cliche and unverifiable. So for me, many of the details do not ring true, intellectually or intuitively.
I would encourage readers to diversify their exposure to channeled content. Some of it might ring more true than others. Also, learn about narratives from non-channeled sources, like past life and in-between-life hypnosis reports, psychic readings, and OBE and NDE reports, etc. These have been subjected to scientific analysis. Most importantly, channel your own information. We all have the skill. If you don't believe you do, get some training.
Finally, I'm a proponent of another way to get at what's happening in the non-physical world, besides faith and belief in what others purport to know. And that is a reliance on science and technology. Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC) has opened the door to receiving afterlife, etheric life, and ET messages not telepathically, but directly through familiar media. Extending this concept, what if we could open the interdimensional portal artificially, as an accelerant to our evolution. Various technologies are now available to enhance altered states, including transcendent states (other than through psychedelic drugs or spiritual practices).
Technology can also smoothe the way to the needed intervention, but also has its risks. And it invites a debate about naturalism vs. technology. But technology is a natural expression of our humanity, and does not need to be in opposition to soul. I guarantee you that our evolved ET brothers & sisters are not without technological advances as well as having mastered their embodiments. Biology itself, including the biophysical mechanisms through which the spiritual avatar collaborates with it, are arguably machines, loosely defined.
I'm not dismissing GFL entirely, and will keep an open mind. I hope as time goes on, you can flesh out some of their messages for us. Thanks again for your contributions!
Thanks Steve for being so prolific in your responses. Our readers are pretty diversified already and know about such things as NDEs, OBEs, and the world's largest-ever and highest quality channeling experiment, the Teaching Mission (which still was full of "noise"), not to mention the Urantia Book itself, the most elaborate revelatory text of our time. What is needed here is a direct refutation of the claims of the GFL on its own grounds of evidence and logic. I criticize GFL's "monist" theology in my essay, but find the spiritual teachings helpful and rich. My coming installments in this series that covers the highly questionable claims of GFL on global geopolitics and the cabal will be much more critical--and this is under the aegis of "exopolitics." This commentary will NOT be posted on Union of Souls, but rather on the new substack Exo-Realities, http://exorealities.substack.com.
Union of Souls will return more strictly UB-oriented topics . . .
Steve, you might wonder why certain themes persist over decades (bifurcating earth, Ashtar command, 12-stranded DNA, the cabal, etc). Why would that be? Perhaps that should tell us that these are important issues that thread through all sorts of sources.. But such things are surface phenomena to the larger point of my essay, which is the energetic/frequency upgrade on earth, which is much like a new Pentecost, a turning point amidst the chaos with immense exotheological implications
I just subscribed to your Exorealities Substack and look forward to reading your first article. Thanks for your rebuttal here, as well as your upcoming critiques of GFL on its own terms.
Just a couple comments. That those themes are repeated might only mean that they are repeated, not that they are real. We see this in social media all the time. Whether something is true or not, repetition gives the impression that it's true. Before social media, when these themes first came on the scene, human nature was the same, even without social media. So if they are true, evidence beyond repeatability is needed. To the extent that those themes were attached to predictions, none have come true. Each time a prediction fails, a new timeline is established, and so on to keep the cult going.
If there is anything to the themes, I suspect their veracity will be determined not by groups like GFL, but by careful observation, studies, and who knows, maybe some evolutionary or revolutionary changes that skeptics don't see coming, but the revelators do.
I also think it's important to define what I mean by "underlying themes." Bifurcating earth could be a metaphor for reality shifting that we now understand takes place at the quantum level, and according to some, even at the macro level (ie. Mandela effect). To be sure, parallel-worlds theory is a contender in the world of physics.
12-stranded DNA could be a metaphor for the etheric (non-physical) planes of reality, which has moved from superstition to the world of science, with multiple theoretical contenders.
Ashtar Command could be a stand-in for the very real evidence in UFO/ET literature about interventionism taking place (generally not Ashtar Command).
The Cabal may be more exoteric than this genre is representing. We see these control structures (and people) dominating the news every day.
Some of these themes could be literally true, but the GFL and its like are not proving it. They are just declaring it and expecting us to have faith because, well, it's coming from "reliable" channelers, feels and sounds plausible, and has the power of New Age tradition behind it. But until we have proof, and unless we look at more reliable evidence, it may be more useful to take these as mythological rather than literal, and that's OK. We need myth to inspire us.
With regard to the energetic/frequency upgrade of Earth, anything is possible. But looking at the surface of how badly things are going on Earth, it's easy to be skeptical, unless you believe it's the darkness before the light. I hope so, but it's been a long time since the light has been predicted to overcome the darkness. I'm still waiting!
I don't question the power of personal experience. But I'm also a bit sensitive to the emotionalization of these ideas. Whenever someone says they are feeling the shift, and aren't you too, I see shades of group hypnosis and a lot of swooning. The heartfelt energy of Bhakti Yoga or ecstatic faith experience is one thing, but where does one draw the line between faith and delusion?
Well, we need to keep you around, brother, as our "house skeptic." It might be a good thing to inquire into what is meant by "proof" in regard to these matters. Sorry, but I don't think the GFL folks are emotionalizing. However, they do make strong appeals to the power of intuition. I'll leave it there for now.
