Can extraterrestrials foster “spiritual pressure from above”?

After eons of negative influence, positive ETs may become the deciding factor

In this post, I’ll start with speculations regarding benign ETs, much of it based on research presented recently at CITD (Contact in the Desert).

As you know, the Rodan Institute’s official purpose is fostering the cosmic religion of the future. And this is no small task—especially given that Urantia may not even have a future.

We are, after all, far behind the norm for inhabited worlds in our class. “Urantia is not proceeding in the normal order. Your world is out of step in the planetary procession” (52:6.1). Sad to say, I’ve always regarded these lines to be an understatement.

But if we’re so far out of step and in such great peril, why cover the ET presence so extensively? Isn’t that just a weird side show filled with unsolved mysteries and government deception?

Are we getting lost on a side trip to weirdsville?

I’ve also gone so far as to raise scary doubts about ET motives. My last post, “Universe Ethics and the ET Presence,” covered the mysterious ET groups who lurk deep down under the oceans, seemingly in stark indifference to universe ethics.

But then again, what would you expect from a broken world like ours? For untold millennia, Urantia has been run by a fallen Planetary Prince who denies the very existence of a loving God. In turn, Caligastia and his rebel minions must have attracted negative and parasitic ETs—perhaps from other rebellion worlds in our system.

Although oblivious about the Lucifer Rebellion, many UFO researchers would quickly agree that we humans seem like a magnet for detrimental extraterrestrial activities. These include abductions, breeding programs, cattle mutilations, secret treaties, weapons transfers, and even collusion with Hitler and the Nazis—the latter being claimed by such esteemed researchers as Joseph T. Farrell and Linda Moulton Howe (who spoke at length on the Nazi connection at CITD).

Divine providence may point the way to positive ET activity

But consider the positive side of things: the hypothesis that benign ET groups are now in the ascendance as this age comes to a close. That the gig is up, by the mandate of heaven (a core concept of Chinese political theory). Indeed, that “the arc of the moral universe may be long, but it bends toward justice,” as the man said.

In other words, keep an eye out for providential action. For, have we not earned the mercy and the grace of deliverance from our traumatized past?

Wanted: ETs from super-advanced worlds

Let us turn our hearts to the possibility that extraterrestrials from Light and Life worlds have heard the call. Envision that they are swarming here at the invitation of our unseen celestial friends, even all the way up to Salvington.

They are, in fact, collaborating in any emergency mission to earth that builds on the revelations of The Urantia Book and numerous minor revelations along the way.

Imagine further that this higher team of light is creating “spiritual pressure from above” (see 52:6.7), which will in turn effect the spiritual transformation of present-day humanity.

Friends, what we may have here is an uncanny cooperative effort of aliens and angels. It is mandated to take place because “unaided social evolution can hardly achieve [sic] happy results on a spiritually isolated sphere.” (See the full teaching at 52:6, “Urantia’s Post-Bestowal Age”.)

In other words, humans did not create the planetary rebellion, a vast calamity stretching over eons of time. It was created by off-planet forces and instigated by Lucifer and Satan. And now, universe justice requires recompense!

This time, benign off-planet beings must intervene to compensate our world for the deprivations we did not cause. (See my essay, “The compensatory nature of divine revelation.”)

It’s a matter of cosmic law: “reparations” must be paid.

I envision that certain rulings have been issued in higher courts, based on legislation sponsored by the Most Highs. Jurists on higher spheres have ruled that lawful modifications can be made in the prime directive. Outside help can be enlisted to reverse and correct our massive divergence from the divine plan.

We’re the planet of the nativity of the Creator Son. He is now a Sovereign Master Son who possesses all power to summon the assistance we urgently need right now. Why would he not enlist the help of the most advanced ET races in Nebadon?
